Feminized cannabis seeds produce exclusively female plants. The grower will not have to "fight" with the invasion of male representatives, and he will be able to grow a real sensimilla, that is, an unfertilized female bush. An exception may be hermaphrodites - cannabis plants that form male and female reproductive organs. The occurrence of hermaphrodite is promoted by stress, which can be received by the plant due to sudden changes in temperature, pruning and excessive overfeeding.
Regardless of the cultivation technique, feminized cannabis varieties have many advantages:
The most important benefit for the grower is that the seeds will produce 100% female cannabis plants and the quality of the final product will be as good as regular strains.
High immunity. Most known feminized cannabis varieties are less prone to mold epidemics than their counterparts and do not attract various pests.
The disadvantages of feminized seeds include only the inability of the grower to get the seeds of his favorite variety, since male plants that can pollinate sensimilla do not grow.
